MJB Woodworking is the creation of Michael J. Bruno. Mike is a master Carpenter that has been working in the construction / millwork business since 1981. Mike started as a framing carpenter, and then went on to general contracting building new homes in upstate NY.
The millwork side of the business started when one of Mike´s new home clients ask about custom millwork to be installed in his
home. At that time in upstate NY there was not a millwork shop around the corner, so after a lot of careful research. Mike started producing cabinetry and millwork out of his garage. He then went on to having a 20,000.00 square foot facility and 28 employees, providing construction and millwork services all over New England, and as far south as South Carolina.
In 2005 Mike had enough of the snow and cold in the north. He and his wife decided to head for the sunshine of the South. Mike sold the business to two of his top workers and has settled in Englewood Florida, after visiting the area. With Englewood´s location in less than 2 hours we can be in Tampa or Naples with Sarasota in-between.
Having had a large operation in the north, Mike has decided that he wants to operate on a much smaller scale here in Florida. So we can give each and every customer the attention that they deserve. MJB Woodworking now works out of a 4500 square foot facility, with just 5 (including Mike) highly skilled craftsmen. Our attention to detail is unsurpassed, and we provide truly "Bench Made" Furniture Grade Cabinetry.
But do not let the size fool anyone; MJB can produce a single piece of furniture to sit in the corner, or a complete interior, exterior millwork package for a 10,000 square foot home. We also provide installation service just about anywhere in the country.
Note:---- "Bench- Made" is the term we use to reflect how our products are truly made. One piece at a time, under the care of a highly skilled craftsman, that takes the project from start to finish, and the watchful eye of Mike.
